Why did it take so long for you to get to the Top100?
I mostly learnt from mistakes. I didn't have the right people by my side to tell me what to do. It was not until recently that I understood the importance of playing doubles. I was growing in confidence winning matches against the best tennis players in the world. That was the key factor.
Who's your tennis idol?
To be honest, I've never had an idol. I liked Kafelnikov very much and this is why I've been playing for years now with Fischer racquets. I like Courier for not giving up. I like also Radek Stepanek who is my friend, we sometimes hit together.
What would you like to do when your professional career ends?
Would be nice to take up studies. But if I still miss tennis, I will start working as a tennis coach. There are a few options, I could also work as a sports manager. I hope I will start a family and settle down somewhere.
