The draw for the first Grand Slam of the year, the Australian Open, has been released. In the first round to be played on Monday or Tuesday, Lukasz will play No. 10 seed Nicolas Almagro of Spain. The two have played four times before and the Spaniard leads the series 3-1, with Lukasz winning the last meeting at Roland Garros last season (he came back from a 0-2 down to win in five sets).

Lukasz has played the Australian Open four times and his best performance was reaching teh fourth round in 2010 (lost to Djokovic).
